Michael: Founder & CEO
Michael started his first company when he was 21 just like his father, and has been learning and developing for years. He finally made a home with Computational Neuroscience and applies this knowledge to the products he builds for Artificial Intelligence. All of this landed him to his company now which his mission is to democratize deep learning & use that education to solve human complex problems. Michael is also the Co-Organizer of the Practical AI Meet up in Silicon Valley and a devoted Researcher/Writer in all things Neuroscience. He believes that having access to both of these domains are crucial to human existence. Michael is also a teacher for 55B Academy which is focused on empowering the workforce with tools in Neuroscience & Artificial Intelligence to not just inform the students but give them knowledge to make corporations train less in the domains of data science. Michael Holds several certifications in both engineering(data science) & Sciences: Python, SQL, Keras, numpy. He also has extensive work in sciences including: Computational Neuroscience, Cognitive Neuroscience, Neuromarketing, Neurolingustics, & is a Research
Logan: Head of Business development
After graduating from the University of Florida, with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, life’s pursuits led me to NYC. I worked in elite restaurants for nearly a decade most recently in luxury hospitality. I left the industry to pursue an MBA in London at Hult International Business School. The Global One Year program strengthened business acumen and leadership skills, while polishing the soft skills acquired from my previous career. Currently I am working on a second Master’s focused on innovation strategies. I am excited to be a part of the 55B team to support and grow the business in the dynamic and challenging business environment today. Logan is also committed at learning about data science. Which we are helping him learn new skill sets.
Ryan: Lead ML Engineer
Ryan is an engineer and has expertise in API development contract Platform migration from existing legacy system to modern, proprietary cross platform web/mobile app stack and server architecture. Leveraging GraphQL Data Layer.Django + Postgresql backend and database. React frontend. API development and integration, sklearn and tensorflow model running in production // training and network mutations are being served through the cloud. Curate necessary ML, data science, and serverless methodologies and research for most lightweight solutions for 55B’s internal development needs
Django, Flask, React, AWS all are primary components in this companies ecosystem I actively engage.
Maynard: Senior Advisor
Maynard is an advisor on the board of 55B Labs, & Maynard has been a robotics professional in government and the private sector for the last 25+ years. He has worked at Lawrence Livermore (LLNL) and Sandia National Labs, as well as various robotics Start-ups in Silicon Valley.He was awarded the DOE’s Meritorious Service Award, its highest, for his exceptional service in helping secure tons of weapons grade nuclear material.In 2014 he was appointed by President Obama as the Senior Technical Advisor to the longest serving Undersecretary of Defense for Acquisition Technology and Logistics in the history of the Pentagon. Maynard holds a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering Design from Stanford University where he emphasized robotics and international security and arms control. He also has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.
He was a two-time finalist for the U.S. Astronaut Corp and is currently a senior engineer at the RAND Corporation.

Lance has over 20 years experience selling complex, large capital systems to the Fortune 1000. Currently the head of Lance-AR, a market and product strategy consulting firm specializing in Augmented Reality, Lance is an industry-leading voice helping enterprise clients deploy this emerging technology. Previous to this, Lance spent 4 years as VP of Sales, Marketing, and Product for Vuzix corporation, a leading AR smart glasses manufacturer. Lance’s previous roles mainly focused on software and high automation systems for the Supply chain industry, with global responsibility for sales and strategy. Lance holds a BS in Industrial Engineering and MBA in Finance and Marketing.
